What would have been my first DAC/amp will not because fewer than 10 people wanted SMSL for $99. Boo!

MelyndaBuy this amp if you need to power speakers. Although it doesn't include a headphone jack, it does have a subwoofer out (unlike SMSL's newer DAC/amp model, the AD18) as well as all input types (USB, optical, coax, and analog). Tone controls and EQ pre-sets too!
CORRECTION: The latest model revision of the SMSL AD18 does have a subwoofer out which doubles with the coax digital input jack.

mattrisI went with AD18 and Elac B6s to compensate for no sub. So far so good!
The cheap remote from SMSL and "outdated" look and largeness of B6s make me wish I picked Audioengine or JBL powered speakers for a minimal, future-forward aesthetic, but I'm very happy with the Elac sound and SMSL Bluetooth.

MelyndaWait for the O2/sdac from Massdrop and grace design. I am dyin to get one of those to replace my Mayflower that suddenly stopped working two days ago When an idiot friend of mine wanted to see if it would sound better if he poured Coca Cola on it. Just kidding. It was an accident.
