I'll ask you audiophiles here since you guys seem to have experience with SMSL products. They just released a new SMSL M3 DAC/Headphone amp combo and it's $80 on eBay. Are these worth it? How is SMSL as a brand all together?

batmanwcmSMSL has a great reputation in the mini T-amp community. I've had a couple, as well as a couple from other manufacturers, and find SMSL's quality and sound top-notch. As far as M3 vs. this one, the M3 is strictly a headphone amp/DAC. The SA-160 on offer here can drive regular speakers as well. However, for digital inputs, you'll need to invest in a DAC to act as a preamp for the 160.
