BuckabooCheck the sampling rates before you decide. If you have DSD or 24/192 (or higher) files that you want to play back in native resolution, you need a DAC that can handle them so that they don't get downconverted. I know nothing about this product other than what's listed in the specs, but the USB version (+40) can deal with higher sampling rates. Also, I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong here) that this product has an ESS chip which is very highly regarded in the audiophile community. Check me on all of this, because I'm easily confusedš
ohsigmachiyep get Grace Design SDAC and Objective Amp. I had mixed experiences with SML. Some are good. Others not so much. Don't be a beta tester. There is audiosciencereview website which does a lot of measurements, and Grace SDAC measured quite good. Other folks there seem to like Objective Amp very much.
