Does anyone that has received their V2 have any opinions about it? I am considering joining the drop this go around.

SetiI came from an Astro Mix Amp Pro to the V2, take that how you will, and I can say it was definitely an upgrade. Much clearer and better channel separation. Enough power to drive any headphones that I know of. I have Audiotechnica AD-900x's which I know are not hard to drive but I only use 5-15% volume depending on the song. Feels like good quality build, although I would prefer if the 1/4 plug was metal not plastic. The drivers were hard to install at first. Windows couldn't auto install the drivers and I didn't know which one was needed so I put in the included driver CD which is of the Mini variety. Beware if you have a vertical optical drive as when you eject the CD it will probably fall out of the tray and get stuck inside the drive as mine did. After some careful work with a dental tool like hook I got the CD out. Another thing that made installing the driver tricky was that once the CD was in you have to open it and view the files and select the device you are going to use and it has several SMSL devices to choose from. It was slightly confusing to find the right application to run as there is a lot of Chinese or something but I found an application called setup.exe. I tried running it but windows would not let me because it did not recognize all of the Chinese characters so I had to extract the WIN7 file, then rerun setup.exe, and finally install the driver. After that I went to the devices properties and updated the driver to the latest version, disabled enhancements, and switched to 24 bit/192kHz . So far it seems to be working correctly but I am by no means an expert on these things so if I did something incorrectly someone feel free to correct me. If you have any more questions I'm here.

Codycc2007That sounds like way too much work required for something that should have been mostly plug and play. Congrats on at least the finished product being a great sounding system.
