Tyler. This order appears to be taking an extrodinary time long to fulfill. At this point it appears nothing has shipped nor is there a confirmed ship date. ? Will the next update provide a ship date.

We are still in contact with the vendor and just awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these orders to ship out. We will update the group as soon as everything is on its way to you all.

Thanks once again for your patience and expect an update from us on 1/22 or sooner if something comes up.

I have many SOG products but my favorite is the knives Topo Merridian. I have a stainless and a Tn Black blades. No side play and good lock. I will take another SOG any day , along with the SOG backpacks 😉.
It's a go! The order for the SOG Aegis Folding Knife, Assisted was placed just after the drop came to an end. Now our vendor will be working hard to prepare it for shipment to each of you.

As soon as we receive word from the vendor about the shipping schedule, we will update you all with that information.

Look forward to another update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 1/12 or earlier if anything comes up.
Has anyone bought this knife?
How much "assist" is provided? Does blade launch like a switchblade, or lackluster?
Since the knife requires thumb studs to open, I'm going to guess it snaps open much like a Kershaw Blur does.

But comparing it to a OTF knife or switchblade is comparing it to a different class of knife. Assisted knives won't open like an OTF because they wouldn't be an assisted knife anymore. Hope that made sense.
Where is the steel made? I see their website they play the "assembled in USA" card which basically means it's made in china -> crap.
I used to own an Aegis (Black/Camo) before it was liberated from me. It's a really good EDC knife with a wickedly sharp blade...I got cut almost every time I used it. :-) If you want to know more about it seach YouTube for "nutnfancy aegis"
Any chance of seeing the black blade version? TiNi or otherwise?
I have a SOG Twitch II and I get a lot of side-to-side blade play in the knife and have decided that I don't like it because of that. How are the Aegis and Mini Aegis by comparison?
see my reply on the Mini Aegis,
The Aegis I owned a few years ago had minimal side-to-side play--barely perceptible--and a rock-solid lockup up and down. It's a good knife in terms of ergonomics; the blade will take a very fine edge and hold it well.
