Greek-Inspired, Quick Deploying Folder
Taking its name from the Greek word for “shield,” the SOG Aegis is a sturdy folder with an assisted opening mechanism for swift deployment. Similar to its bigger brother, this mini version of the Aegis features a smaller, 3-inch satin-finished blade. Made from AUS8 stainless steel, the Aegis is easy to sharpen and durable enough to stand up to tough tasks. A unique, piston lock mechanism holds the blade firmly in place once deployed. Its handle is made from glass-reinforced nylon and features ribbing and textured pattern for secure grip. It also comes with jimping on the back of the blade for added control and a reversible pocket clip for right-and left-handed users.
