Agreed that the hard sheath would make this a much more interesting drop.
I've always been on the fence about this knife in the many versions it has come in. I like this one for the plain blade without serrations, but not a huge fan of the "spine rasp"
And.....hate to say this again.... But at $49 and change with free 2 day shipping, it's $10 cheaper to buy elsewhere for those in the US with a Prime account

MD, why show a sheath
option that is not part of the drop? I might be inclined to join the drop if the hard sheath was an option.

I currently have a SOG Spec Elite II in my pocket right now. It has been my EDC for almost three years. Works flawlessly, very sharp. Holds a sharpening well and has never let me down. It is NOT a survival knife...nor is this straight blade offered. IF you want that....I must say that a Ka-Bar is my choice. You can bet your life on that blade.....and at one time, I did.
