Just received mine. The packaging could be better, it came with plastic holder that attached to the product. Thick n pronounced arch support, not suitable for low volume shoe. I ordered a size L but the cutout only marked US10.5 and US11.

haro5419Uncut it’s size 12, if that was what you were looking for. I wear 12.5-13 so ordered the XL. It’s recommended that you remove the footbeds that came with your shoes and put these in their place. Otherwise, the fit might be too tight.

Tried these for the first time in a pair of dress shoes for about 4 hours and they were fine. Then a whole day on my feet yesterday in a pair of Altra Escalantes. I figured I might have some discomfort the next day since I dived right in without much ‘break in’. But I feel great the next day.  Definitely noticeable arch support. Enough to draw my attention to it often throughout the day. Making me think I might have discomfort the next day. But no soreness or sign that I had been wearing them all day the day before. I can definitely see how these might be helpful for those with flat feet or Plantar fasciitis, but that the corrective nature of these insoles might take some getting used to initially. Reviews state these “mold” to your feet over time. So if the correctivness of these are extreme for you, it appears that this may ease with repeated wearing. Bear in mind that these are not intended to provide much more cushioning than your shoe already supplies. What these are designed to do is shape your foot into a more natural posture. If cushioning is what you need more than arch support then look at gel insoles instead. I have a pair of the “Work” versions of these coming soon so perhaps they are different than these “Sport” ones in the area of cushioning. But again, I don’t think that’s the intent of these insoles. Overall, a good experience so far.

How thick are these? I had to return the EV signature foot beds because they were way too thick.

AndrewIThe additional few mms is noticeable to me but not extreme. Bear in mind, SOLE recommends removing the insole of the shoe before inserting these, so you shouldn’t notice a dramatic difference. I, however, want to be able to try these insoles in several different shoes so I’m not making the alterations the manufacturer is recommending. Which means I’m having to loosen my laces wider. I typically buy shoes that are ½ size larger anyways so that’s not a problem for me. But if your shoes are already tight, you’ll need to remove the glued in sole and replace it with these.

The $6.95 shipping charge for a 4oz package seems abusive.

usmaleWhat’s are folks griping about? What do you expect the shipping to be for a package this large? If the footbeds were $23.95 and shipping was $4.95 would that somehow be more psychologically acceptable? $27 total is still way cheaper than what you’ll find on AMZ or Sole’s own site. Because of their size they do come in a huge 19 x 14 padded envelope.

usmaleglennac is right, but I get it. We live in a world where its either free or its like a nominal $10 shipping charge for a case of wine. Priority mail is exactly $6.95 for the envelope these should fit in, but do we really want to pay everyday shipping charges when we kinda figure that a company like this doesn't pay an everyday rate for shipping? I don't. But I did. At the end of the day, its total coming out of my checking that matters. With shipping, if its just a good deal instead of a crazy good deal, that still works for me.

Well, jumping on board the SOLE Train ;-) for the first time. This is from someone that has simply been using Dr Shoals Gel insoles. On my feet all day in a hospital setting. Any observations on what I can expect? Thanks!

glennacI've been using them for about a month now, working on concrete floors in a warehouse and my feet are so much better than they were. I had some plantar fasciitis problems but I think these really help, no more arch pain. I had tried the Dr Shoals insoles too and they're pretty flimsy with poor support in comparison.

Is this product $24.99 for a pair or a single insole?

hasanoneIt is for one pair (L+R) of insoles. It would be an interesting concept, selling only one insole, but how would you know if you would be getting the left or the right? 🤣

CanadaGooseHah. I've been burned once assuming I'd get a pair of something and only getting a single instead. Thank you for clarifying.

I love SOLE insoles. I've backpacked over 23,000 miles and trail run too. These are the ones that work for me. SOLE Signature EV Ultra-U, Blue, 10 M US

RayFThey lasted me for an AT Thru hike 2000+ miles. I generally replace them every year or around 1000 miles backpacking plus I wear the same shoes everyday walking or running. Put another way the ensoles last through two pairs of shoes (Brooks Cascadia).
