When does the charge go through I'd like to join in but I won't have the cash tell this Friday?
xdarkicexYou'll be charged at the end of the drop. We give 24 hours to the community to fix any transactional issues, which would mean around end of Thursday for this drop.

Guys,
We spoke to the vendor and are extending the drop for a bit to allow the community to hit the lowest drop. All the best :).

Nobody responded, but is the grey pack really only available with white straps? The photos are all grey with black straps, and they don't even offer grey with white straps on their own website

I ride a motorcycle and this looks like a durable backpack that will fit many thing.
One thing i am concerned with is the water resistancy. The way the lid clips on looks like if the back pack is rained on, the water will be collected INSIDE of the backpack instead of dispersing the water around like the a car rubber seal. I wouldn't put my laptop in this thing if all it does is to collect water. You wont have time to "oh wait, let me put the cover on" whilst you are riding in the wet.
I don't mind the price because i took some design to make a hard shell backpack but the rain thing gets me.

apophis2099I also ride and I would not use this on my bike, what you want in a riding backpack is something that is comfortable and durable and while this may be durable it does not look comfortable at all. I would suggest the Kreiga R25 which is around the same price.

apophis2099On their website they say that the backpack is pretty water resistant but if you really need to be absolutely positive nothing gets wet there a $15 rain bag that just fits around it. Otherwise they say that because of the clamp system it is pretty water tight.

I just can't imagine this thing being used everyday.
If you had this in any tight spaces like a full train, bus, or an elevator, everyone else will instantly hate you as it scrapes and bumps into them.
Need to get to your car in a packed parking lot? Be Prepared to carry this thing over your head so you don't accidentally scratch every car you walk past.
I also doubt anyone would let you stick it in overhead storage in case it falls on someone's head.
If someone seriously wanted a hardshell backpack, they should look into something like Boblbee, which is more of a bag and less of a lunch box.
We threw the backpack and it opened up. The backpack is still functional and extremely durable.
One thing I'd say with this backpack is that it's designed really well. It has some great compartments and can withstand a lot. We were literally stomping on it and throwing is all over the place.
The last image is of the pack after everything was said and done.

kunalkumarI cannot shake this feeling that you are attempting to befriend me in some way... possibly to influence my decision in some way. Its great that it can carry all those books though!
All jokes aside, thanks for putting it through the ringer. Great to see you guys showing what this bag is made of... even if I won't be buying it.
