It's a bit more spendy but the Bush Buddy (the original of this design) is a way lighter option for the same type of stove. Pair it with a Titanium pot like the Snow Peak Trek 900 (without the fry pan lid) and you're about the same weight as this stove alone. BB+Ti Pot(and lid)=331g(11.6oz) or Solo Stove+Pot=476g (16.8oz).
For longer treks, this type of stove is great. I've used on one week or more treks. For shorter trips, my alcohol or iso-butane/propane stoves are lighter. If I'm doing more than 4 days, I bring my Bush Buddy, anything less and the weight doesn't make sense.
