M_1111Yes it does. This thing is a steal! Streams Netflix amazingly. 4k movies look incredible. Has apps like Spotify etc. No Tidal yet. But they might go out of business anyway for gosh sakes. Plays SACD, pretty much every audio format and even has LDAC.

M_1111Here's the remote that comes with the UBP-X1000. It is common with the remote that comes with the UBP-X800. Although not shown in the pictures here, I believe it is included with the units Massdrop will be shipping. I just bought an UBP-X800 from BB two weeks ago, and it is a very nice bit of kit for the price. https://www.amazon.com/Sony-Remote-Control-Originally-Shipped/dp/B0745JBMZ1

M_1111You're welcome. If you're in the market for a 4K Blu-ray, grab one of these. You won't be disappointed. It's everything AzNyCans says.
Have a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year!

crossWho is the Actual Seller of this Sony Player ? As in for Service or Warranty Issues, because as I understand from reading comments on other Mass drop Forums, there is no easy way of getting quick responses in case there is a problem. Also has anyone out here experienced receiving the incorrect item or a Lemon product ?

M_1111Massdrop is the seller. Massdrop however is not licensed by Sony for warranty issues. Sony retains its position as the manufacturer and so any warranty claims hare handled through Sony. If you want 'an easy way to get a quick response in case there is a problem,' I'd suggest you stick with a brick and mortar. I bought my Television from BB for exactly that reason.
I once received a pair of sunglasses from Massdrop that was a different color from the pair I had ordered. It took about three and a half weeks fro m first report of a problem to receiving the correct sunglasses, and Massdrop provided an ARL which handled the shipping of the wrong pair back. Part of that timeline was the fellow at Massdrop emailing me back to inform me that the sunglass manufacturer would have to handle the warranty claim. I emailed him to ask what exactly was the warranty claim in receiving the right item that arrived in good condition but was the wrong color? The claim processing and customer service responsiveness accelerated greatly after that.
Part of the issue was that Massdrop had placed their order with the Manufacturer for the number of sunglasses they had received orders for. In my case, they had to get in touch with the manufacturer and get a pair in the correct color shipped out to me. They can and will help but those kinds of issues take time.
You can also find extended warranty services who'll be glad to sell you an extended warranty on a product you purchase through Massdrop. I haven't used any but I've read about them a few times in these MD forums.
I've ordered about nine or ten things through Massdrop and once received a crushed box but the headphones inside were okay so I didn't bother with a return. I've purchased sunglasses, water filters, headphones, both old school and Bluetooth earbuds, and larger electronics and never received a 'Lemon' product.
At some point you'll have to get past the fear and realize that regardless of how many questions you ask and affirmative responses you get, you'll have to try an order. Best of luck to you getting from here to there. And personally, I think the UBP-X800 is a great product to get your feet wet on.
