Tex-ArozziSurely Massdrop can pull off a similar deal with the 75x900e! This is an acute form of torture seeing great deals on the 65x900e and 75x940e. Both equally tempting but equally not-what-i-need.

BteeWhy would you want the inferior processor and back lighting zones/control of the zones which equates to a degraded viewing experience when compared to the x1 extreme chipped, 930-940 &z9, TVs? Not that the 900 is a slouch, being a great value in the 4k UHD led upper mid level, but if you are saying that the massdrop price of this 940 is frustrating because it’s exactly what you want to pay except you want to get the 900 for that price then I’m missing something. That’s like going into the Volkswagen dealer looking for a Jetta and being upset because the dealership is offering a 911 turbo for the price of the Jetta. This tv is light years better then the 900 due to the processing power you gain in stepping up to the x1 extreme. And when you buy a Sony tv you are buying/paying for the processing. But if Hutch says he will look into it I can only say one thing. Have your credit card ready. Your 77” 900 is probably gonna be dropped very soon. That’s how this guy rolls.

I was just letting the poster know when u say ur going to try to get a certain model that he better get his credit card ready because you dont mess around. I asked about the Sony A1E months ago and the following week you dropped the A1e for the first tiMe.

BteeOh my bad. I thought you were saying if this was the 900e at this price point you do it but just had something against the 940e or just was dead set on the 900e. I can totally understand the budget thing. Believe me. But just keep an eye on this page. I was ready to buy a 55” 930e because I just couldn’t feel ok about dropping almost double, almost 4k$ when it first came out, on my dream tv the 55” A1e oled. Well I just bought my time and kept checking this site then just finally messaged b hutch and said “ hey what about doing a Sony A1E drop”. He said he would look into it. 2 weeks later and the A1e was dropped and the 65” a1e was cheaper then the 55” a1e at any store or online site I could find. Now I got my dream tv 10” larger then I ever thought I’d see and all the home theater audio video gear to create an unreal home theater.
