This headphone is great for what it is, a mid-range wireless bluetooth headphone. I'm writing this while listening to them. I do not have audiophile hearing, but I know what I like. The sound, to my ears, is also great. I would say that the 900N has a slight V-shaped sound, and at reasonable volume, these appear to be fairly accurate without muddiness from the bass. These can be paired with most Bluetooth compatible devices except for PS4. Oh Sony, why?
However, the main reason for this comment is to notify you of Costco's offering for the same headphones. It's been a couple of months since I've owned my pair, but if I recall correctly, Costco is offering these for about $20 less than Massdrop. https://www.costco.com/Sony-WH-H900N-Bluetooth-Noise-Canceling-Headphones.product.100403345.html Check it out. Online purchase also includes free shipping for members.
There's also a 1000N model out there with the same design but more expensive. I'm not sure what additional features the 1000N model offers to justify the additional costs.

ChronorHere's a comparison of the 1000 vs the 900 (aka the H.ear ON 2). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgGLg74VCqk
I bought the Costco ones for $189+tax. I use them every day. Here's my review that I posted on the Costco website:

I've had these headphone for two months. I've had wired $60 non-noise cancelling over-ear headphones, so I'm mostly comparing them to those. The sound quality is as good as I require. A true audiophile wouldn't tolerate bluetooth connectivity, but the convenience is undeniable. The noise cancelling is definitely noticeable compared to headphones without the capability, especially on flights. For example, my sporty bluetooth headphones (Plantronics Backbeat Fit) had to be turned all the way up to watch movies on the plane and I could barely understand it. With these, the droning of the engines and wind are blocked out really well, especially when listening to something. Unfortunately, the noise cancelling does not block out baby cries. By the way, the way noise cancelling works is there's a small microphone hole (the dot on each side under the front hinge) that receives external noise and then the headphones play back the opposite sound waves to cancel it out by the time it reaches your eardrums. So if you have the overhead air vent pointing at the microphone then you'll hear a distortion-like noise. Totally manageable, just want people to be aware of the possibility if things start sounding funny. These headphones are an investment for sure, but a really nice luxury in a noisy cubicle farm or any flight. Battery life is phenomenal. I've only charged them 3 times, despite using them daily. I can't comment on making phone calls with them. But facetiming works well, so I think it should be ok. The touch control is very intuitive: forward and back change songs, up and down change volume, double tap to pause/start. I haven't worn them while working out, and I don't plan to. I prefer a my waterproof backbeats for that because they stay on when jogging/jumping/etc. If you're weightlifting you could wear the Sonys, but if you're doing box jumps then I predict they'll fall off. Improvement opportunities: block out loud voices/crying better, include a hard case, make them fold flat when worn around the neck like the 1000XM2.
ChronorJust logged into the costco site myself. They are the same price as here.

Tex-ArozziI'm not sure which price you are referring to, but I was at Costco earlier browsing. They still have them in stock at the store for about $180, at least in my area. I'm not trying to contradict you B. Hutch. I'm just relaying my own shopping experience.
If anyone is still interested in these, do yourself a solid and check them out at Costco, especially if you or someone you know has membership.
ChronorWhen I made that post 3 days ago that was the price Costco was at. Now they are at a lower price.
