HassThey've answered it in the faq if you click 'International Spec'.
" Similarly, drops denoted as "International Spec" contain products that are procured from a non-US distribution channel. If a warranty claim is needed for these products, members should contact Massdrop Support directly.  "

That would be no, you can't deal with Sony directly.

serifThey've answered nothing. I want to know exactly what services Massdrop will offer in the event the camera malfunctions, or fails to operate properly. That's why several people have asked the question in this thread. 6 weeks, and so far, no responses from Massdrop.

KTO1Fair enough. They used to be clearer with this. I recall a Seiko I purchased had a "1 year massdrop warranty", which is sorta referenced here: https://helpdesk.massdrop.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003723748-Do-products-purchased-on-Massdrop-have-a-warranty- Too bad they don't have that anymore.

KTO1Generally speaking, if a product has a warranty, or fails within 30 days (for things that don't have a warranty) Massdrop will either replace the unit (if there's inventory) or simply refund the full cost of the purchase.
