Just a reminder to those that might be coming in with a crop sensor camera (like the a6000 that dropped a few months ago) and the ideology that they should buy full-frame lenses in preparation for the day they make the leap to a more expensive body... You probably won't be very happy with the results.
Lenses are generally tuned for the type of sensor they are expected to be paired with. A lens meant for full-frame sensors will very rarely produce tack sharp results on a crop sensor. Some lenses will do better than others, and I'm not sure if this might be one of them; but generally speaking, it rarely works out well if you try to mix and match, even though both types of lenses use the same mounting system.

CodyToombsTony Northrup proves this and also don't forget to account for the crop factor, making this a 42-105.

lastzeroYes, crop factor is relevant too. I left it out since all lenses are measured in 35mm equivalent, even if they are intended for crop sensors. I didn't want to get too long-winded.
