"Due to escalating shipping rates"... look MassDrop guys/gals, if the vendor is unwilling/unable/not interested in shipping outside the contiguous US, then just state it as such!! It's not a coincidence that most Sony/LG TVs/Pioneer product drops, which are shipped directly from the vendor, carry the same shipping restrictions which, I bet, probably mean they come from the same source that doesn't ship internationally.
These particular manufacturers seldom ship outside the US from their official stores.
Its ok if the vendor doesn't want to ship to US territories (their loss), but don't blame it on "escalating shipping rates" when, if they really wanted to, they could ship with reasonable costs, or even expedite for an extra fee... like I've been asking for for a long time!
