Very nice party speaker, couldn't be more happier spending less. It was sad that they didn't have a choice of choosing your color. I would've chosen red but alas there was no choice for colors. This same speaker is on Amazon for $277 currently, originally during this drop it was about $348 so the speaker has dropped in price a good chunk. CamelCamelCamel's price tracking says the lowest this speaker sold from Amazon's sale was $199 but that was in February/March. Still though, for $199 is a steal, wish I would've bought at least 2 for chaining. Sound quality wise it is decent but comparing to my 2.1 Klipsch setup it is not as good but I don't expect it to be. Plus my Klipsch system isn't portable.
It's a good sounding speaker. You can demo it at Best Buy. I also demo'd them when they were in Miami Music Week doing promos. It's obviously not a professional grade speaker. If anything, the lights in the speakers will make you look less professional. That said, it's great for a house that throws parties and doesn't want to drop money on EVs.
HualicopterInteresting the specs says it's 235W RMS. BestBuy advertises it as "Sony - High Power 470W Home Audio System - Red"
235W RMS x 2 @ 3 ohms, 1 kHz, 30% THD power output I'd only want to buy this for the loudness and not audiophile accuracy where I want to use it.
6EQUJ5That's pretty much what it was made for. It's marketed as a party speaker. They had stacks and stacks of them playing by the pool side. For $200, I don't think there's really much competition for its intended purpose. Fairly easy to transport, good sound, and looks cool.
BoiIfYouDontIt's also not fair to compare those other speakers to this one because they're at a completely different price point starting at $400 creeping all the way up into the thousands. stop focusing so much on the exact specifications and look up a review.
lel How much does the actors in the demo video do you think they have been paid for their extreme performence ?
Anyway good product with pretty decent price !
