After some research it appears the firmware upgrade mentioned in the description does not refer to the 4K upgrade license key. Is this something Massdrop can offer as an option? Purchasing the upgrade key separately pretty much negates the value of the Massdrop deal, it's usually about $250 when purchased with the camera but $500 separately.
Edit - per Massdrop, no 4K license key option is available. So, if you're sticking with 1080 this camera may be a good deal for you, but not so much if your intent is to upgrade it to 4K. I'll be passing on this one.
