The Sony WH1000XM2 wireless noise-canceling headphones offer high-resolution audio over Bluetooth in a comfy wireless design. Whether you’re in a crowd, on the train, or anywhere noisy, Sony’s digital noise-canceling technology actively cuts out unwanted sound Read More
These have to be the best wireless headphones ever. Not one part broken, still sound great, have terrific battery life (still). I use these headphones almost daily and have been doing so for almost 6 years. That alone is pretty impressive.
These headphones, even in 2023, are still king, in my opinion. Sure the newer models have a better sound quality and blah blah but this one freaking FOLDS. still. Until Sony brings the folding function back, the older models are king.
Almost 3 years later and these are still going strong. Best noise canceling phones I’ve ever had, and the sound quality, short of audiophile cans, is great. I’ve thrown these down, stepped on them, slept on them, and they’re still in one piece. Says a lot for build quality. Love these!
Great headphones at a great price. I use these nearly every day. Only draw back is that they do not play even close to the sound level of wired phones but still they are great for walking, running, and working out at the gym. The sound stage is great too.
I travel a lot for work and these are a must. I can zone out and listen to music (Metal, Classic Rock, EDM, whatever I am in the mood for), or watch a movie/show with great sound. Crying baby--- noise canceling--- bye bye baby. I am afraid that the plastic headband might crack, but they haven't so far(fingers crossed). Bluetooth calls works pretty awesome as well, way better than I thought it would. This was well worth the price.
Headphones are excellent with revolutionary wireless controls with just the touch of your fingers/hands on the right earphone. Use them at the gym at least 3x/week and battery life is awesome. Checkout the great in depth reviews and comparisons with the bose q35. Normally priced the same, these are a no brainer at $100 less. However, Massdrop did not handle the delayed shipping well on the last drop. No communications or heads was given to any of us. I had to email them to get compensation.
Great noise cancelation headphones. As of today (7/7/18) an update adds "Google Voice Control ". Simply change the function of the noise cancellation button to voice control in settings.
The noise cancellation works great. Although it does not cancel all noise sources 100%, it does mute them enough to ignore them. I would say that outside noises go down to 10% to 15%
Sound quality is good for videos but for music... I'll stick with with my dac/amp FiiO E18 KUNLUN.
During my massdrop there was a problem with many people's shipping being delayed or they received their shipping number usually by a week or two. I was not personally affected and I do not know how many people were effected. It could be many people or just a vocal minority. Massdrop gave everyone $10 off their next purchase. You can praise Massdrop's willingness to admit their mistake or criticize them for not managing the drop properly. My rating should tell you where I stand. (But the headphones are great even with glasses)
Excellent NC headphones. Very comfortable, though bose QC35 scores higher on that aspect. But sound quality wise, there is no comparison. With or without NC engaged, the sound quality is top notch. Nice build, and loads of features.
Better noise cancelling than the bose qc35 I had it and sold it.
Less comfortable than the Qc35 specially for big ears
Pics up a lot of ambient noise so you can't really make phone calls in noisy inviroments. With the bose this was not an issue.
Better audio quality than bose qc35
