Mine just arrived last week. I purchased on Mar 3, 2018 . Unfortunately Fedex had to delay the shipment due to bad weather.
Happy to own one of these awesome ANC Headphones.
Build Quality Pretty solid. The headband feels flexible and will be able to handle some abuse. Sadly, the hinges at the ear cups creeks a little bit. The previous model, MDR-1000X is known to have cracks on the hinges. Hopefully, it has been fixed in this model.
Sound Quality Sound Quality is excellent. I have used it with my Oneplus 3 through bluetooth. I have to install the Headphone application from Google Play Store to access some of the functions. One of them is the type of codec used for the connection. I choose the priority quality option which connects the headphone with LDAC codec instead of normal SBC. That sort of improved the sound stage and quality. Listened some of my favourite and am pleasantly surprised by how much sound stage it has. I still prefered the warmer sound of my Sennheiser HD6XX though. For Active Noise Cancelling, I love it. I used it in noisy cafes, trains, buses and the headphone reduces the noise by so much, i sometimes don't believe it. Now I don't have to increase my volume to overcome the noisy environment. Able to enjoy my music as if I am in my own room.
Comfort This is where the headphone suffers a bit. Don't get me wrong, the headphone is comfortable for long hours but the ears get warm quickly and causes irritation in warm weather. The clamping force is pretty tight too. Maybe changing the pads might help but for now, the noise isolation of the pads is more important the small discomfort it causes.

zeekyawThanks for your review. When you said the headband is able to handle some abuse, I hope it means that this won't have the same cracking issue as the previous version.

zeekyaw100% agree with you on the comfort aspect. I really like the headphones for the awesome features, but part of me thinks I shouldn't have pulled the trigger on the massdrop simply because of the ear cups.
