I picked this up at a convention a couple years ago, the handles are a bit uncomfortable until you get used to them, but overall this isn't a bad set of lockpicks.
I see alot of these on Md. Are there alot of certified locksmiths in this community forum. I certainly don't understand this as a hobby. I just hide a spare key outside of my houses. I don't think this should be a "hobby" that should be promoted. Untill now, I did not know that these items were available to just anyone. I'm sure there are people who buy these with the intent to see if"I can do this", just as I'm sure there are people with other intentions.
True. Hey, I understand, I like puzzles too. It's been nice chatting with you. You didn't get all defensive on me. Well, at least maybe we made some food for thought. Communication that creates insight and understanding is always a good thing. Still, if I were a merchant, I would not offer this product. Hopefully they will only go to the good guys like you, but I think thats probably too idealistic. Have a good time with your puzzle. I'm gonna go do the crossword and then pick on the guitar. Cheers!
ElsidI pick on the guitar AND pick on locks! They both bring great pleasure and yes, the overwhelming majority of us are not doing anything illegal with regards to possessing lock picks. Besides as Dkop1 stated, you can build these from numerous everyday materials anyway.
Shazb0tPersonally I don't think so, it gives to many rakes and will just teach you how to get in to why you get in, look at some sets by sparrow for other beginner sets but the choice is up to you. Also if you can see if there are any toool meetings near you, google them they're a cool group that has people who can teach you far better than any online guide. As well as being a better teacher I believe they sell a compleat set with everything you will need.
gypsypipsI've watched his stuff and i thunk he's pretty cool but I didn't think he had any tutorials? aswell as that there is always the toool handbook, it has everything in it so that could be a good guide if you prefere reading with pictures to videos
Hi All,
I have a question and it may be a stupid question but I will would like to ask it...
As I ordered a prior SouthOrd set froma previous drop - I came across a statement with regards to law etc.
Does the USA Federal Law apply to Non-USA citizens with regards to purchasing lock picks?
I know I am not going to be doing stupid things but just want to learn some new skill and its getting boring here where I am doing contract IT work in Hong Kong, just want to find something to keep me entertained and challenged...
Thanks
