Cap not postable is a deal breaker for me.

sallenApologies for my ignorance, but what is a 'postable cap'?

Go_AvikingPostable cap means that when the cap is removed, you can post it on the end of the pen so that it does not get lost. I am terribly absent-minded and lose things easily. Not being able to post the cap on the pen while I am writing is a deal breaker for me because I fear that I will lose the cap. With such a unique pen, I cannot run to my local office supply store for a replacement, so I need to ensure that I reduce, as much as possible, the chance of losing the cap. I've tried various cords, bead-chains, leather thongs, etc. and none come close to the ease and simplicity of just posting the cap on the pen when writing.

sallenTIL. I guess in my head, I have always called it cap-able. I never thought there might be an actual term for it. I'm glad that I asked, because that makes it a no-go for me as well, so thank you for taking the time to reply.

Go_AvikingNo worries. Cap-able is ability to cap the tip, protecting it (and your clothes, bags, etc.) from damage. I have come to strongly dislike pens that are not postable.

sallenI know what you mean. My first experience with a non postable cap was that big bastard from County Comm, in all black. I fell in love when I saw it and the moment I opened the mail and realised that I seriously messed up by not reading the entire description of the pen, not to mention a single review, I despised it.

sallenI like the fact it is not postable. If you let somebody borrow the pen and you hold the cap, it's pretty unlikely that they will walk off with your pen !

sallenA pretty girl can borrow The Precious as often as she wants...
As long as she stays within line-of-sight.
