Spinnaker has earned a solid reputation for its nautically themed watches. This one falls right into that line of thinking with an equally dressy and sporty look. Featuring a minimal look and a 40-millimeter case to suit any wrist, it’ll jibe at a nice dinner or on the open water. The dial has slim markers at every hour and a date window at 3—but the real eye catcher is the bezel. Carved with ridges throughout, it resembles the outer edge of a coffee filter, drawing the eye towards the center. Inside the stainless steel case is a Seiko NH35A movement, which is visible through the exhibition caseback. Set on a nylon strap, the Bernard goes anywhere with ease, without being a burden on the wrist.
