Good looks in a legacy diver's style with its own personality
This is a good looking legacy diver's style watch, with a robust movement and solid lume. Even though it has the overall looks of the 60's diver watches, it's not really a copycat of the fifty fathoms or similar. It's larger, even though you could get the smaller model if you feel like it, a glass covered bezel replaces the bakelite one and its own style of applied indices and mercedes hands makes it different, in a good way. So far it has been reliable and quite accurate. The screw down crown has a decent size and good grip, so winding and adjusting it is very easy. The bezel is easy to move, doesn't have too much back play and is fairly well aligned. The dial has an interesting texture to it, which is difficult to describe but looks really good from up close. The extra NATO band is a nice plus.

Garbage watch.
The date field broke the first day I had it. The case chipped the first week with no traumatic collision--just normal wear and tear. I let it sit for a long time before starting to wear it again, broken date/chip and all. After one week of consistent use the minute hand fell off and can now shaken around in the watch.
I will never by another Spinnaker. The best part of this hunk of junk was the case. Smh.

Got the SP-5033-06, wears well on my wrist, lume on mine is good, after wearing for a day put in my watch box and 24 hours later still tickin, for price I would get another

Great watch. Looks awesome and keeps good time. Has the best lume of any watch I have ever owned. Shines brightly all night long. Seems to be waterproof, at least as far as a dip in the pool can prove. Doesn’t have the finest surface finish I have ever seen, but for the price, I can’t complain.

This is a really nice watch. My daily wear is a Tudor fastrider which I love but I saw this on massdrop and really liked the look with the retro dial and gorgeous leather band. The price was so good I couldn't pass it up. My wife commented on how nice it was and it really is very pleasant to look at and the time accuracy is only slightly fast at +2 seconds per day which is really very good. Energy reserve is right at 35 hours.
The watch is thick which is a great change up and it's not "weapon" thick like some of the Invictas I'm seeing guys wear these days.
I'm actually looking at getting another Spinnaker with a bronze case if they come back up on Massdrop. Highly recommend.

It’s a decent watch for the price. I purchased the Black cased version and the contrast between the lume markets, brass around the black case is bolder in person than it appears in the photos. The rotor for the Miyota movement does free spin and rattle at times , but it keeps excellent time.
