while preferring a movement up a notch from the 8215, because of the non-direct seconds linkup AND the hacking issue, this cannot be beat. i'd so be willing to pay the extra for a seiko NH35 or miyota 9215...i'd easily go to $250 for that as i think most would, but i think they could bring it out for less. the main thing is the design/name/case/etc....this has a real feel and authentic homage to an older diver, and i love the name. i cannot be anything but astounded by this and would probably buy if it had the movement upgrade...that is even though i have so many diver watches i could start a commodity exchange with them. anyway, like this direction of massdrop.
