I've worn my SP-5033-01 a handful of times since receiving it. The watch has developed "little bubbles" on the bezel round about the 11 o' clock mark . The rotor weight is extremely noisy. I am really disappointed. Massdrop could you advise? I can take photos of the bubbling, who should I send them to?

Dvn11Head to Spinnakers site, they've got repair info. You can also email them via the site, 48 hour or so response time.

Dvn11The rotor of the 8215 is incredibly loud in any watch - if you're worried that you might have a dodgy one-off, don't be. The first watch I had that had that movement had me searching the internet high and low, and I found an awful lot of other people saying that theirs were very loud too (ratchety, clicky sound). It's the sound of the ratchet, funnily enough! Then my friend bought one and it confirmed that the sound is normal. It annoyed me at first, but now I've come to really like it. It's just a quirk, I suppose. Other than that, it really is a good movement and, with patience, can be regulated very close to +/- 0.
I'd be asking questions about that bezel though. No finishes on any product should flake or bubble, let alone a watch or jewellery.
