"On the Spinnaker website, I wasn't able to dig up any location, but I did find an email address referencing 'Dartmouth Brands UK'; the English company responsible for creating AVI-8 and Ballast Watches. Their websites are all eerily similar as well.
"Therefore, my thoughts are that Dartmouth Brands designed the watches/website/brand and have outsourced the production to Solar Time Ltd in China to drop-ship the watches directly to the customer. Not really a surprise here, and I am fine with this as long as it is done seamlessly (more on this coming up)."

TL;DR: Interlocking UK and Hong Kong companies situation, but founded by and under ownership and control of an Indian-Pakistani British citizen resident in Hong Kong.

Looking up The Wow Company on Companies House, it's just a business support outfit, sort of a mail drop in the UK and the UK equivalent of a resident agent for legal purposes, to receive legal documents I suppose.
Notan Tolani brings up a lot of information on Google, moved to Hong Kong from Pakistan in 1968, seems to identify as Indian, British nationality, seems to be the founder of Solar Time, about 71 years old, etc., if this is the right Notan Tolani.
