Is anyone else noticing a lot of rotor noise? The rotor on mine is very loud whenever it moves, almost a scraping sound. I have several other automatic watches that I wear frequently, including one with a Seiko NH35, and they don't make nearly as much noise. Could mine just be defective?

monkeychildDid you ever get this resolved? My watch was working fine but it started making an unpleasant noise today. I am 99% sure the screw holding pressure on the weight has come loose. I can even feel it hitting the case if I gently shake the watch.

monkeychildI had the same problem. Took it to a watch repair shop and got it fixed for $5. He said the screw holding the rotor was loose so it was rattling and getting stuck on inside of the case. The movement makes much less noise now like my other NH35.

For a gift it seems good enough.
Now, w/ that said it came wrapped in some type of white paper surrounding the watch itself. It doesn't really matter that Spinnaker did that, just never seen it done before.
Anyhow, you got a hacking Seiko movement and relatively decent build. Since mine is a gift, I have not seen it run.... Although, I will probably check it later.
I hope everyone is happy w/ their purchase.

Got mine today and the crown wont pull out for me to set the time or date. Am i just a noob?

Received mine today. Agree with Stainless Only that this is more of a "fashion" Spinnaker watch and not like other watches in their line. That being said, reasonable watch for the price, NATO strap is an ok one, not the best but works fine. Date window is really small, and double digit dates almost don't fit the window. It will be a good addition to my watch collection as it isn't a dress watch like Orient Bambino, nor is it a "dive" watch, just a nice casual Automatic.

FialMine's been listing preshipment since the 4th so it might not just be you. Kinda made me nervous when I looked. Hopefully it'll be shipped by USPS soon.
