Archaeologist and underwater explorer Edward Lee Spence was addicted to hunting for hidden gems and sunken artifacts. The Spinnaker Spence, which bears his name, would certainly pique his interest if plucked from a forgotten treasure chest at the bottom of the ocean. It’s done in a classic diver style with chunky indexes and legible hands, plus luminous coating for visibility at great depths. Made with a 316L stainless steel case and mineral crystal, it’s water resistant to 200 meters. The brushed case houses a Seiko NH35 24-jewel movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. For accurate timekeeping in the water, the bezel rotates counterclockwise, with markings denoting elapsed time. Also included is an extra NATO strap if you prefer it over the leather strap.
