At MAP pricing, I'm hard-pressed to find any reason to endorse picking one up from MD. I will say that the Brouwer is a fantastic knife if you're looking for a minimalist and highly functional edc. It has become one of my all-time favorite Spydercos.

So frustrating to see you guys wasting time on knives where you can’t get us special pricing or some kind of exclusive sprint. This contributes nothing to the market, and you guys could be doing so much more elsewhere. I come to Massdrop for value and uniqueness, not BladeHQ Jr with slower shipping.

Man its like your reading my mind. I agree with you 💯%!! I still love the deals I do get here on MD but like you say it seems there wasting more and more time and energy on items that are ether no deal at all or such a small amount you could barely call it a deal at all.

I wonder if they're going to write Massdrop on the blade.

It’s very misleading to make it seem like this product was marked down from $300. Bladehq has it for $175. No major knife retailer would sell this product for $300.

neverworrieThat's the MSRP. you're right though, this isn't a deal... much less a 'drop'. Spydercos MAP policy makes it hard for MassDrop, or any other retailer, to really offer a significant discount over the other.

Not even a deal at this price. You guys need to use this new thing called G O O G L E. it can tell you ANYTHING like the current price of this knife.

I love the knife but it's a little small for me. I'd love to see this in a 3.5" blade! Same with the Ferrum forge knives! Give us a 3.5" Ferrum forge!!

Interesting. It almost doesn’t look like a Spyderco to me. —Almost like a Strider with a hole in the blade.

It's S30VN and G10 assembled in a relatively unimpressive manner. The value just isn't there for me.
jayonnaiseAssembled in an unimpressive manner? Spyderco's Taichung plant has some of the best fit and finish in the industry and has for years. Or did you mean that the design is a bit boring? I can see that.

Few questions from anyone who has one.
Is it a taichung? Catalog states taiwan but they don't state which factory there, and I can't find a shot of the name with the blade open to check. They work with two and Taichung is the one that turned out the godly piece of art that is the Slysz Bowie.
Also is it bearings or washers? Again, surprisingly little info on a pretty core detail for a knife at this price point

Naftoorhow many Spyderco knives are on bearings? Not many. I would assume washers when looking at Spyderco.
