Shit steel. Overpriced and massdrop screwed me on a spyderco last week. Order was filled and paied for. Then they decided they actually didn't have any of the knives. Totally unacceptable

Ben24Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I'm curious what steel is acceptable to you at this price point. Nothing less than m390? I've seen a lot of knives over $200 with steels that aren't as good as xhp. Most people seem to group it with S35vn and cpm154 in terms of all around performance (edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance).

Ben24I am also confused. If they didn't send you the knife im sure they refunded you and spyderco didn't have knives they though they did, since massdrop is a middleman for what seems to be the extras from productions sold for a bit cheaper. Also what steel is your base for a 200$ knife? This is a premium tool steel and the only ones above it are mostly the "exotic" ones and s90/110v
