KavikSpyderco has a strict MAP for authorized dealers, you can not sell them marked down by a certain percentage. MD addresses this in certain drops by allowing you the option to not include, for example, a zippered pouch.

KavikOne has to admit that an offering made by Massdrop at a price point this close to a common purveyor like Blade HQ, of a very generic product has removed the two points of unique value of Massdrop while adding the burden of enduring the considerable delay in receiving the product - in other words choosing to accept the sacrifice of delayed gratification without any reward for the wait.

Kavik Had not seen it offered by others. In fact, thought this model might not be available for a while through other purveyors.
I have been aware and part of Massdrop community for a very short time. I am beginning to understand ”the deal” better.
Let me ask you, if I might: if a product like this is widely available and, whether due to MAP pricing or some other constraints, Massdrop can not offer it at a substantially lower price, why would they offer a drop?

*shrug* because they're a business, looking to make their cut on the resales. So as long as people keep buying there's no reason for them not to offer it.
Plus, in some cases, other have pointed out that some things may still be good deals for non-US buyers who may not get the same deals on other sites
