You should see the price tag on the high quality pocket knives. This is comparatively affordable.

RadthThe Kershaw Blur is also high quality with similar steel and 3.4 in blade. You get knife that's better looking and more useful all-around. This is an overpriced toy for the Spyderco fans. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/kershaw-blur-blackwash-s30v-blade
DmitryNIt all depends on what you want out of your knife.
The Blur is a lot more knife for your dollar, provides a much better grip and you're getting a colorway here unique to Massdrop.
The Cricket has better steel, a more reliable deployment system, is lighter weight and has (in my opinion) a better clip.
It also depends on where you plan to use and carry it. The Blur can be intimidating with it's switchblade-like rapid deployment and longer blade. Nobody is going to freak out if you whip the Cricket out of your pocket.
For me, the Speed Safe assisted open on the Blur is the deal-breaker. It can and will eventually fail. Kershaw will repair it for you, but I'd rather not have the problem to deal with in the first place. I also think the Tac Tec grip tape on the Blur handle looks cheap and feels awful. I'd love to see a version of the Blur with a textured handle and no Speed Safe or Tac Tec. Maybe one of these days.
