I believe there is a character missing in the model number (C11GRE) given in the spaces. Could MD please confirm that the correct model number is C11PGRE.
IF this is the Spyderco C11PGRE, the MD price - without the case! - is competitive at $86.88, including shipping – eg: it’s currently listed on Knife Center at $98.97, with free shipping.
YMMV, of course, but I consider the Delica to be the ideal EDC folder. I’ve had a Delica in my pocket for more than 25 years, and I’ve found the Delica 4 with a flat ground ZDP-189 blade to be the best iteration of this great design.

NovanglianDidn't buy here, but my ZDP-189 Delica 4 box sitting right in front of me definitely says C11PGRE.
I love my Delica, but I'd really prefer to carry a cheaper knife day to day. Tends to be my Meadowlark 2. The Byrd is just a bit too heavy to be ideal for the cheap knife role.

ProfessorPatThank you for the reference to the Meadowlark 2! I really like the dimensional/size similarity to the Delica 4, not to mention the much lower price - certainly less heartburn to lose one of these. Obviously, the 8Cr13MoV isn't going to perform as well as the ZDP-189, but a great value at $20:

NovanglianNo problem. 8Cr13MoV is definitely not as good, the action is definitely not as smooth (though far from bad), and my G10 version is annoyingly heavy compared to FRN, but the size is great, they’re cheap, and they have a little finger choil, unlike their big brother Spydercos.
I also got mine Cryo treated for free, so the cheapie steel holds a bit better edge than it used to. Still, I may grab a FRN version and swap the blade over to lighten it up.
For the Endura guys, there’s also the Cara Cara 2, and the Robin 2 is basically a mini version (dragonfly maybe?) of the same design if anybody is after a small one.

Novanglian I have seen the model referred to both ways. I think the "P " means the plain edge version as opposed to the Spyderedge(Serrated) or combo edge. Leaving the letter out would refer to it generally. That is my assumption anyway

ShrashFrom what I can gather, C11 is a Delica 4. P is plain edge, S is Spyderedge, PS is combo edge. F is flat ground. No letter before the edge grind is hollow grind. BK, BL, GR, etc are standard color codes. No color code is stainless. Not sure what titanium and G10 would be.
The Wharncliffe one I want is something like C11FPWCBK.
This lacks the F and has a 3 character color code (granted it‘s a special colored scale), but the code on my box does include a blade grind, despite no serrated option in ZDP-189, so outside of the VG10 models, it looks like it gets a little sketchy in the coding.
