For everyone into EDC's just so you guys know... this is not a deal you can buy these knives on amazon at the same price and not have to wait for shipping. It is a deal kind of if you get one of the other knives... but chances are slim that'll happen. Also I'm not sure but I believe if you look around for the other models besides the base model, you can find them for not that much more. Not trying to be a critic but just want everyone to know massdrop bases their % off by MSRP which is not the current rate at which these knives sell.
OutSideTheBoxThanks for the heads up. However once you move outside the US, knives can get very expensive and Massdrop can become a much cheaper option if you don't mind the wait. Seems every Spyderco drop gets the Amazon = faster comments, but Massdrop has a far better community attached and shopping is actually fun here. :)

craingerPersonally I would refrain from buying any sort of knife online if you live in an area where shipping knives is either a legal gray area or simply not allowed the latter being far more obvious. That being said if it's a deal and a good EDC I'd be happy to pick something up. Just before you buy do 5 seconds of research and Google it the drop to compare prices.
OutSideTheBoxPretty black and white here in AU now with the new laws thankfully. Which is why I'm going crazy on MD. :)

craingeri know exactly how you feel. Laws in Australia used to suck. Now i just wanna buy everything. I somehow even got an assisted flick kershaw knife through (speedsafe mechanism) but MD has stopped shipping them here unfortunately. I think i might join this drop though. Kinda want a small folder that is socially acceptable. People here go crazy when you pull out a knife but maybe a small one won't scare them as much (i hope).

BadmuthaThats kinda crazy. Here, in canada, i can flick open a kershaw blur or even a spyderco resilience (4 inches blade!) And most do not even bat an eye!

BadmuthaWell that's good :) hope you enjoy your new spyderco :D
BadmuthaI carry one for work. Opening boxes, breaking down boxes, cutting cable ties in small places. I just had a co-worker react telling me it was illegal. I said, it came through customs, it's carried for work and fits into our carry laws (it's not concealed, it's Spyderco pocket clip is shown lol). She just said oh. The fact it's a Wave doesn't help when it snaps open though, but we have a draw full of kitchens knives at work. No one cares about them and they'd do far more damage.  I've always carried a knife, my Dad always carried a knife. Comes from a background of metal work, farming and outback survival. Really love Spyderco knives. Great price for quality compared to Kershaw and even Emerson. I find Emerson cooler to look at, rather than use. So they stay at home. Would love to get a few Benchmades, ZTs and even a Chris Reeves Sebenza. No worry about importing now and having it randomly seized.

craingerSebenza's are so simple and nice. Wouldn't mind some ZTs either. AARGH too many nice knives out there and not enough money
I wish knives didn't freak people out here =(
