Surprised no one has pointed out the obvious... Not only is the lanyard a rip-off, last I checked the endura is big enough for a King Kong sized paw to fit entirely on the handle... Making a lanyard useless. Unless of course the idea is to add something to snag on your surroundings so that you may bless a passerby with the finders-keepers treat of a lifetime.
