At this point does Massdrop just have “mute notifications” set for all spyderco drops? Every single drop for a Spyderco is just a flooding of people complaining about price. I’ve owned nearly 2 dozen Spyderco knives and I love them... but their Minimum Advertised Pricing sucks. But Massdrop continues to sell them for some reason beyond me. Perhaps they sell more than I realize. I would much rather buy a Spyderco elsewhere and come here for the killer deals on Kizer or Boker.

Pretty much same price as Amazon but Amazon prime gets 1 day delivery and Amazon points. Amazon is the way to go :P

Fox are made in Maniago Italy, same as Lionsteel. Lionsteel are at a higher premium than Spyderco, Al Mar and Moki so I don’t think that is a valid reason.

WilliamMMYes Your right and truth be told I dought they have any issues with math. So somebody's buying them and there doing it at such a rate that it proves it to be a winning bissness model. 😕 All I know for sure is there's much better out there for that price tag and a fool and his money are soon parted. 😨😬😠💸😆

I'd be interested in one of these (I've never owned a karambit before and its a unique design for sure) but over $200 for VG-10? No thanks. I don't get why this is so expensive. Maybe I'm missing something.

Okay, I have to ask. I'm not into karambits, so I'm probably missing something obvious, but What makes this worth $200? Vg10 is a poor steel at this price, g10 is a mediocre at best handle material at this price. It's made in seki, so it probably has merely ok fit and finish for a Spyderco (golden and Taichung are better). It's not exceptionally large (2 in cutting surface) or particularly robust at 3.8 Oz and .1 in thick blade. Why would anyone pay this much for this knife?

BrewhausNot sure why any of the vg10 go for over $100 the funny thing if you buy a clone they are made pretty good an they are under$20 now steel can not cost$150 for a 3inch blade just saying for my use I can buy 2 fakes an take my girl out

Take a cool little utility hawkbill and add a huge dumbass ring to it, market it as a 'fighting' knife. Aka a manslaughter knife.
That's a karambit to me.

Surprised to see this beat out the Emerson Super Karambit in the poll. The super is a vastly superior tool to this knife and the only folding karambit on the market for those with larger hands (edit: the only large, folding, with emerson wave that is). Spyderco makes decent knives, but this one missed the mark. Offerings from the ultimate knife or emerson are going to suit your needs better if you actually do need the utility of a folding karambit.
