If Spyderco knows one thing it's steel.. they're one of if not the best production knife manufacturers out, that said I don't see a spyder hole.. I'm out. All jokes aside though do people really order from mass drop? I mean prices are barely under Amazon's/other retailers and takes months to get.. I don't get it.

JustJayCertainly starting to wonder. Some of the things I have purchased have been exclusives or hard to find elsewhere. They used to have Paramilitary2s for $100 which was a great deal but now that Spyderco changed their pricing they can't sell them that cheap. There are some things that I have bought that have been $10-20-50 cheaper than other retailers it just depends on the deal. But like I said, they should just stop selling Spyderco because its not worth the wait for the same Minimum Advertised Price as other retailers without a big wait.

Subiesaurus_R3XIf Massdrop is selling single knives than typically Amazon or other retailers will have cheaper prices for the given Spyderco knife. However, when they have Spyderco Blue Boxes, typically the chances of getting an upgrade and/or bonus sweetens the deal.
Of course the disadvantage is you are at the mercy of 'Lady Luck' so to say.
