S35VN Leaf Blade, Intricate Ti Handle
Originally released in 1997, the Native 5 is arguably Spyderco’s most ergonomic folder. The handle features two prominent curves: one a finger choil for choking up, the other further down for finger placement when tackling more strenuous tasks. This version features a blade made from CPM-S35VN, which is one of the most highly regarded steels available. The blade is secured by a back lock once opened. Another upgrade is the fluted titanium handle. It becomes increasingly textured as the fluting radiates from the smooth top of the handle to the bottom, producing a shimmering effect when tilted against the light. No matter your carry style, the Native 5 has you covered thanks to its four-way clip, too.
