dolusebThree years ago, Spyderco didn't enforce MAP. PM2 prices are locked at about 120 now; however, minimum ADVERTISED pricing means you can get around it. Here, MD is offering it with a case for just over MAP, but you actually get a PM2 for 113.99 if you decline the case. It's not a big discount, but it's the only way you can get a discount at all without going to ebay or forums - which, to be fair, is a pretty good way as long as you're confident you can ID fakes.

salehonasiAh. gotcha. I figured MD would have some way around MAP because of the type of business; I just think you may find better sales on knife shops online. You're right i think forums probably provide the best price, but more risk.
