I recently purchased this model and think most people won't have buyers' remorse, even at MAP. However, I'm getting very tired of having my finger pinched by the compression lock when doing a common thumb open. Basically, the gap between the lock bar and the remainder of the liner is large enough to get the flesh of your index finger caught in between, and it gets pinched when the bar pops open to lock the blade. The problem seems to depend on the handle length and height, as there is little to no problem with the PM2.

Almost $200 for an S30V? Even from Spyderco, that is too rich for my blood.

I’m sort of meh about S30V, but man, this would be an awesome platform for a premium blade steel sprint run.

Major_InfidelImagine it with M390/20CV/204P and titanium liners, and maybe a shinier carbon fiber style

A very fine knife but I don't think it's worth joining this drop to save $1.00.

Cool. Imagine how much More compelling when they get a great deal from the Mfr
Why does massdrop even bother with Spyderco anymore? Now don't get me wrong I love Spderco knives, have plenty of them and I'll buy more but the MAP pricing policy eliminates the entire reason you would buy from a site like this! The entire point of a group buy is to get a lower price then elsewhere but this is the same price you get everywhere else!

100% correct. I’m in Australia. Most U.S knife retailers charge between $17-$50 USD for shipping. Massdrop charges me $2.50-$8. A big saving especially when you convert to our Aussie currency. Good on you massdrop for the amazing shipping rates.
