The new knife laws that are due to be introduced any day now prohibit the shipping of knives to residential addresses.
UK Customs is notorious for keeping hold of & destroying all knives. If you live in the UK & decide to go for this item, be prepared to have it confiscated or even destroyed.

nrlewis1982I have imported 11 knives into the U.K., all but 2 have been locking knives, flippers and 2 with blades over 70mm. None of them were confiscated. All but one incurred customs fees and were inspected.

GrimpeurHe did write "laws that are due to be introduced any day now" and he's correct, we don't know how totally overboard the UKBF will go trying to meet their new quotas.
It's a stupid law passed by a clueless government trying to show that they are actually doing something about the perceived knife crime increase while appeasing the the Daily W̶a̶i̶l̶ Mail reading sheeple. I mean, "zombie knives", ffs, they can't even tell us what the proper definition of one is, they should legislate against the crime, not the implement used in carrying it out. I wonder if they would ban 7-iron golf clubs if they became the new Chav weapon of choice?
I'd love to know how they are going to enforce these laws, too. I mean, my home address is also my business address, maybe they can only be delivered to me while I'm busy doing something work related?

nrlewis1982I've never had a problem so far. Paramilitaries, blurs, kizers so I don't foresee any problem with this one either. If necessary in the future, I'll get it shipped to my company address.

nrlewis1982The thing is, as far as I'm aware, there hasn't yet been a Bill through parliament, and even if that were to happen today, it would then still have to go through the House of Lords - and then the Act would have to be brought into force, with transitional arrangements to allow for collection in person etc. Yes, it's likelly to happen - but "any day now" is a bit alarmist.
Whether it will stop any scrote from just grabbing the nearest and cheapest kitchen knife in a superstore and walking out and committing a crime with it...?
Well, you decide.
