Super Steel in a Fine-Tuned Design
A mainstay in the Spyderco collection since the 1980s, the Police is now in its fourth iteration. This version features 4.4 inches of Böhler-Uddeholm K390, an advanced particle metallurgy tool steel with high volumes of vanadium, tungsten, and cobalt. (While these properties give the steel excellent edge retention, it should be noted that the blade will require diligent cleaning.) The handle, also the result of extensive fine-tuning, is made from G-10. The grippy texture of the scales makes it easy to grab onto in the rain or grime, even with gloves. Thanks to the Spyderco thumb hole, you can easily open the knife with gloves or without, too. Close the knife with the backlock and carry it by way of the four-way pocket clip.
