Huge bummer that this is a Taiwanese product. I would really like to see more USA-made products, especially when there are some fantastic American EDC product companies.

CiemnikaThat's a good thought - if there were a way that the country of manufacture would always show prominently in search results, it might help people who want to buy domestic. Just having the mfr. say it's "made in _____" isn't enough to make that work, it would need to be a standardized search term. Then again, I wouldn't hold my breath that international trading organizations would want to support that.

dalethornIt would be nice to be sortable. And to be fair, I'm not specifically opposed to buying products that aren't made in America. It's just that there are SO MANY good knives that are designed and made in the USA that it feels a shame to spend this much on one that's Taiwanese.

CiemnikaOh yeah - some of the U.S. made products I've had that are gone now, I want to get replaced, like my Brunton compass. I think more people would buy local if they had a way to identify those items easier.

CiemnikaYeah, even though Spyderco's Taiwan plant pumps out some of their best knives, it's always a nice feeling seeing "USA" stamped onto the knife.
