50% off this is not...
This knife usually retails around the $250-270 range "on sale"...really want this knife, but this isn't that great of a deal. :/

Slayer2003The cheapest that this knife has ever sold for outside of massdrop is about $275, that did not include tax+shipping (~$25). Also, this knife retails according to spyderco website for $499. Given that mine is $252 after tax and shipping from this drop... I think its as good a deal as you will ever get for this knife. Also Massdrop deals directly with manufacturer (Spyderco in this case). All these knives are guaranteed brand new, direct for manufacturer... which you cannot say from other sites that have comparable prices... those are the facts for anyone who is actually interested. If you want this knife, buy it here, you won't get a better deal...

GoldenBeaverActually you can get a few of them brand new on Ebay right now for $250. Some are free shipping but most are around $6 for shipping only. No taxes. Not the best deal.
