This is is a solid deal for two very nice Spyderco products. I'm probably gonna pick up one or two as gifts.
The Sharpmaker is very simple and safe to use. It gives you two angles fo choose from. All you have to do is hold the blade consistently at vertical which is fairly intuitive. I can sharpen blades using this system to swipe cut (not tear) hanging toilet paper. I do wish Spyderco included an option here for adding their diamond coated steel (faster reprofiling) and ultra fine ceramic (edge polishing) rods. They really complete the system and the option to get these at a discount with purchase here would have been sweeter.
The Tenacious is a sturdy Chinese made folder that compares favorably with knives with twice as high a street price in terms of materials, fit and finish and performance.
