I'm disgusted that an implement specifically designed for maiming and killing another human being, under the guise of "self-defense ", should be marketed thru MassDrop. I appreciate that with over one mass shooting a day, your country has lost its mind - not to say its soul, but I have difficulty in imagining ANY situation when this weapon could legitimately and legally be used. This marketing is directly inciting violence, and MassDrop should not market and thereby support such irresponsible, inane, and immoral pursuits.

rmeurantAnd here w see the internet troll in its natural habitat, willingly equating an ancient camping/survival tool with modern day killing machines.
"difficulty in imagining ANY situation when this [...] could legitimately and legally be used."
So you've never been camping, then? Never needed to chop firewood or clear brush for a tent? Never needed to hammer in tent stakes?
I know meatbags such as yourself have done their best to kill their imaginations, but you really should have held on to yours.

arsvithThe blurb for this product directly promotes and glorifies in its supposed effectiveness for slicing, maiming and killing other human beings - and not its ability to chop wood. Why kid yourself that that is why you are interested in it as a product? It is directly targeted at an infantile and voyeurish interest in violence to others. So why pretend otherwise? Why then maintain it is an "ancient camping/survival tool", when that is clearly not what it purports to be? I doubt whether any experienced backcountry adventurer would ever consider its use for that purpose - the handle is "ergonomically designed for maximum control and speed in close-combat situations", and it is obvious that the angle of the blade relative to the handle means it would be useless for chopping wood. It weighs far too much to bother to carry (e.g. cf. Gransfors Small Hatchet @ .7 lb / .3 kg, less than half its weight). And no, I don't need to hammer in Ti shepherd stakes, or the MSR CarbonCore stakes that I regularly use, as I long ago found that fingers or the occasional rock do just fine. This product whose advertising you defend is directly and irresponsibly marketed as a device that is designed to effectively kill other humans with - something to keep in mind if and when you are ever on the receiving end of its targeted use.
