The Swedes have a knack for making unique knives. Take the Vrango for example: a stout gentleman’s folder from Swedish knifemaker Michael Henningsson Read More
Huge discount from original price when released and at least $10 cheaper than other sites clearance prices. Very nicely finished knife. I didn't like it when I first saw it, but I've really come around on the unusual blade shape. The rest of the knife is beautiful. The liners line up so well it looks like it is milled from a solid piece of titanium at first glance. I might just have to pick one of these up. My only issue is the flush liner lock. I'm not a fan of the "jam your thumb in there to unlock" method.
Well I typically carry right side. If I were to carry this knife right side the blade spine would be exposed and not flush with the fabric meaning it's more likely to accidentally deploy in pocket. It also means the crap in my pocket is likely to beat up on the blade spine rather than on the scales. Tip up or down is a matter of preference mostly. You can find any number of reasons people lean one way or the other.
MaxwellDemonicIn jeans I just carry on the other side of the pocket. In slacks that wouldn't be as effective because of the more vertical orientation of the pocket, but I rarely carry a knife with a clip in slacks so it's still not a priority to me. I'm guessing some folks probably don't like caring on that side of the pocket though.
I empathize with people who have a strong preference on this, I'd imagine it's frustrating to see an otherwise appealing knife with a clip that is a deal breaker. It happens to me frequently but for other reasons.
