This is a fantastic razor. It is still my favorite of more than a dozen high end razors, mostly stainless steel. The light weight and head design are close to perfection for my face and beard, giving both amazing comfort and a close shave, when using the recommended (and inexpensive) Astra Superior Platinum blades. The price of this drop is lower than I've paid for any of the three Standard Razors in my collection. (When I find something I like, I buy a spare or two!)
