anakinI'm interested in this as well. Seeing these people getting broken items makes me think it's not thick at all.

PSBJMine was very thin - kind of disappointing as it doesn't really feel substantial. Cool nonetheless, but I did think it would be thicker.
Unfortunately mine are wrapped up under the tree so I can measure, but I'd say a 1/2 inch at the thickest.

PSBJWe beefed up the packaging quite a bit so I think everyone should be safe moving forward. We had about 4 out of the last 140 or so that were damaged in transit so it was not as big of a problem as it seemed. All customers that had a broken unit were replaced immediately with a new unit.

InkedandScreened-SupportHi - I ordered two of these for Christmas gifts - everything came and they look great (aside from my thickness complaint earlier), but the motors on both of them are broken. One one, everything screws in place but it doesn't keep time. The second hand just quivers back and forth in place. If I take off the second hand, time doesn't move at all. I've tried it with three different batteries and it just sits in place.
With the other motor, the threaded part that everything screws onto is too large - I can't screw the hex nut onto it (it just rotates the entire piece). The fact that I'm 0/2 for properly working clocks is kind of disconcerting. If you could shoot me and email so we can get this fixed I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
